Unsobby Coffee

A couple of months ago McDonald's came out with a fancy line of coffee. They wanted to compete with Starbucks. Being the birthplace of Starbucks, it definitely caught the attention of the local media who immediate got a coffee connoisseur to test the java from the two companies. McDonald's won. I've been thinking I should try it, so when I got a coupon in the paper I decided to give it a go. It is pretty good.

Hmmm. Looks like it only available in WA so far.

One of the thinks I like about Starbuck's is that they serve the coffee at just the right temperature. McDonald's is way too hot.

Starbuck's is retooling to compete with McDonalds. This includes returning to grinding beans in store and the introduction of PIke Place Blend. I've switched from Lattes to Pike Place Blend--it's half the cost

Actually, the McDonalds latte I had yesterday was just right. I was pleasently surprised.

Starbucks is just plain in trouble. I'm sure they'll get it together.

However, the CEO is in deep doo-doo for selling the Seattle Sonics to someone from Oklahoma. Of course the new owner had no intentions whatsoever of moving them to Oklahoma -- or so he said. Now a move is in the works and the Starbucks CEO is not popular. Tisk, tisk.

They don't have latte here yet.

OK. I just realized you were talking about a sports team. I thought you were talking about Sonic's restaurants at first and I didn't get it.

The thing about Starbucks coffee is it tastes burned to me. When I make it at work it tastes MUCH better.

At home I still have my Keurig and I LOVE IT. Today I bought Gloria Jean's Chocolate Almond flavor. Oh yum.
